We guide growers with the best pest control practices, in accordance with Food Authority standards, to ensure healthy and safe growth.

Growth tracking and close monitoring
The growth of the crop during the first 12 weeks is carefully monitored, making sure it meets the required standards at each stage.

Harvesting and new technologies
We supervise the harvesting process and guide farmers to use the best methods to preserve the quality of the grain from the time it is uprooted.

Checking and analyzing at each stage
Samples are taken and checked periodically during the cultivation and production stages, to ensure that they meet globally recognized quality standards.

Fully Automated
Alishan factories feature state-of-the-art equipment such as
pre-cleaning machines – grit removal – fine sorting – grading – rice separation – dehusking – colour sorting
magnets from Buehler and Satake, which are used at different stages to ensure that every grain of rice at Alishan is the finest and most fragrant among Basmati rice grains.

Packaging and aging
The rice is aged for more than 8 months in optimal conditions, then packaged in premium burlap bags that preserve the flavor and nutritional value.
